Every student must complete, to the satisfaction of the Principal, the courses of study at the College prescribed for such term for the class to which the student belongs. The student must keep a minimum attendance of three-fourths (75%) of the number of days on which lectures and practicals are held in each term. Final examinations, at the end of each semester, are conducted by University (MDU). However, Mid-Terms/sessionals/Internal exams are conducted by the College, on behalf of the University, three times per semester and the marks thus obtained by the students in these examinations are added to the marks obtained by the students in the End-Semester Examination so as to compute the Final-Consolidated Mark Sheet.
The DEC Management along with the parental involvement is committed to a healthy discipline and high academic standards of the College and the students are required to co-operate to maintain the same.
"Ragging is prohibited as per the decision of the Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition No. (C) 656/1998" as well as subsequent notifications issued by the AICTE and Maharishi Dayanand University(MDU), Rohtak, Haryana.
Students indulging in ragging in any form in the College campus or in the vicinity will be strictly dealt with and punished including expulsion from the college, as per the legislations as may be applicable and as per the rules and regulations of the College.
As per University's circular, mobile phones in the college premises are banned. Strict action will be taken against students found violating this rule by confiscating their mobile phone and imposing a fine.
